The Latest Trucks to roll out of our yard... Shane Troth

Harvest is well underway now in northern areas, and, with warmer weather accelerating progress in some regions, leading to an early harvest in some areas, the focus is now in keeping grain moving. Demand for roll-over tarp replacements and repairs has been high, with operators ensuring their equipment is ready to handle the demands of harvest.

Take a look at just one job we carried out to keep a customer's truck on the road and the grain moving:

Shane Troth

Location: Caragabal, NSW
Tarp System: Roll-over tarp

Ready to cart loads this harvest
Shane Troth is a farmer from Caragabal, NSW, between Grenfell and West Wyalong in Weddin Shire.

He owns his own truck and tipper trailer, which allows him to cart around his own grain and produce - everything a farmer needs on a regular basis.

With wheat and barley just about ready to be harvested, his trailer has a lot of work ahead of it this season, so having a tarp that is easy to operate, reliable and provides good protection for his loads is critical.

His old roll-over tarp had seen much better days, and with tears in two corners and the tarp dropping at the rear of the bin, it was not going to provide adequate protection anymore.

We measured and fitted the trailer with a new roll-over tarp and hardware, giving it a fresh, dependable tarp system that is fully waterproof and seals tightly on all sides.

Another trailer back on the job and ready to keep moving through the season.

Thanks to Shane for choosing Ellis & Sons — we've got you covered!
