About our GrainSafe® grain storage system
Traditionally, to access the grain below the tarp, conventional tarpaulins are partially released from their side-wall clamps and folded back. This potentially puts operators at risk if the cover is lifted by the wind, acting like a sail.
At Ellis & Sons, we have invested in research and development and worked closely with customers to devise a system that allows users to simply access grain through a resealable vent, removing the need to sew, patch or paint.
With the GrainSafe Access Points, the operator opens the waterproof, air-tight zipper accessing the grain and resealing by pulling the zipper shut again, reducing moisture ingress and leakage from wind flap damage.
